SUPERSTAR CARDI

My journey with Cardi begin when I visited Carol Holcombe's North Forks Farm to watch two-week old Cardi and Mirage trot around. I was blown away by his free uphill movement and made a deal with Carol to purchase him. As a 2 1/2 year old, he was lightly started and voila! several months later he trotted down centerline and ended the season winning Reg. 6 Ch. at Training Level. The magic carpet ride has been one incredible surprise after another as this stallion with the huge heart and talent won championships at every level. Partner/rider/trainer Jessica Wisdom challenged the Olympians in California, the Devon, PA competitors and culminated their time together winning the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Dressage Finals in Lexington with a 71%. Cardi is still dancing with owner Traci Viers, still offering his gift to mare owners and giving me goose bumps for knowing this once-in-a-lifetime Welsh Cob superstar.
